Hey TAH Titans,

If you aren’t doing anything tomorrow, Monday evening around 6:30, check out KCRG! TAH may be making an appearance… all in route with this weeks theme.

Week Theme:

Grittiness Of Goals: Secrets to Leveling Up Mental Performance

Weekly Info:

Every single athlete I talk to, every single one that’s reached any kind of greatness, shares the same thread:

Grit.

And I got to thinking… How does that work?

I kept coming back to it. I mean, we hear about it all the time. Athletes, performers, business people… they all have their “grit story.”

But here’s the thing. Everyone else has hard times too, right?

We all have setbacks, struggles, days where it feels like we’re pushing a boulder uphill with no end in sight.

So what’s the difference? What separates the hard times of the greats from the hard times of the rest?

It’s how they use their grit. Some people let grit grind them down. Others let grit grow them up. And that’s the difference.

We dove deep into this in this week’s Deep Dive episode, uncovering how the gritty moments aren’t just endured, they’re embraced.

Exclusive Exercise: Grit Growth

Here’s the thing… grit is like Kool-Aid with a little too much sugar and way too much powder.

You can sip around it and try not to taste it, or you can gulp it down and let it change you.

It’s like an X-Men mutation, that struggle and that grit are the very things that level you up.

Exclusive Action Tools:

  1. Find the Grit:

First things first, you have to find what’s holding you back. All that grit floating in your Kool-Aid, the stress, the doubt, the obstacles.

  2. Identify the Biggest Pieces:

What are the hardest chunks? The stuff that sticks to the sides of the glass, the things that seem impossible to swallow? Those are the ones that have the most power.

  3. Drink the Kool-Aid:

I’m serious. Embrace it. Like a superhero downs a potion that transforms them, drink that grit.

The stress, the struggle, it’s not a toxin. It’s the recipe for mutation. It’s what takes you from good to great.

In Action:

Tomorrow, I’ll be speaking at Strikeout The Stigma, a big event in Cedar Rapids.

Last year, I was sitting at a small table, barely knowing what I was doing, barely understanding the direction of TAH. Having sticky notes, and that’s about it, at the table.

But through the grit, through the struggle, the late nights, the trial and error, we transformed.

TAH mutated that experience into something much greater.

This year, it’s not just a small table. This year, we’re showing up stronger, with the culture and momentum we’re building through that grit, and continuing to build with all the teams, athletes, coaches, and families in the community.

And we’re not stopping there. We’re taking this from Eastern Iowa to Iowa, and to the entire space of youth athletics.

Grit to greatness.

Closing:

Here’s the truth, Grit is always in the glass.

You can sip around it, complain about the taste…

Or you can gulp it down and let it transform you.

Find the grit.

Embrace the grind.

Let it grow you up.

Level up,

Gabe

P.S. Thanks for all your help spreading TAH awareness! Catch us tomorrow at 6:30 on the news, and updates about it next week. Until then, find that grit for the week and gulp it down!
