Hey TAH Team,
High school wrestling just wrapped up, and basketball season is right around the corner. Share this with an athlete looking to get an early edge, whether they’re hitting the court or preparing for a spring sport!
Week Theme:
Super Bowl Secrets: How the Best Teams Dominate Mentally
Weekly Info:
As I sat watching the Super Bowl, it made me rethink some things...
First, it reminded me that we could all learn from the best of the best.
But more importantly, what specific takeaways could we use right now?
I wanted to bring a different perspective to this or at least bring it back to our attention if it’s something we’ve considered before.
This week’s Deep Dive covered key Super Bowl concepts, while our podcast guest, CJ Joseph, and I explored these topics and more, especially leadership and its undeniable role in championship success.
Exclusive Trick: Back to the Future
If we want to be in that spot, we have to act like we’re already there.
It’s a Back to the Future mindset… building the future we want by acting like it’s already happening.
Exclusive Action Tools:
Analyze: Study what the best are doing and how that could be you in the future.
Adapt: Begin implementing the habits, routines, and behaviors that have made them successful.
Allow: The hardest part is sometimes allowing ourselves to fully commit to these new adaptations.
In Action:
Recently, I won’t jinx it, but I’ve seen a team we’ve worked with fully embrace this mindset.
They used concepts I saw with my friends, the Murray’s, and analyzed how they could bring their future success into the present.
Last year, they had a bleak season. But this year? They adapted their habits early, committed to the process, and are now having a season their team and organization will never forget.
Closing:
We might not all be Super Bowl-worthy, but if we look back, plan ahead, and take action in the present, we can build the habits that turn dreams into reality.
P.S. Thanks again for the feedback and continued growth. Slowly but surely, we keep leveling up together!
