Hey TAH Titans,
How are your New Year’s goals coming along? I’d love to hear about them! This week’s theme ties perfectly into this time of year…
Week Theme:
Coping with the Fear of Success – Overcoming Barriers to Reaching Your Full Potential
Weekly Info:
When we think about winning, we often think about change.
Some people embrace change, while others find comfort in where they are.
But comfort can kill.
And success can scare.
At first, we might dream about all the glory success brings. But then comes a second wave of thoughts… the extra work, the stress, and the new challenges that come with it.
This week, we’re focusing on strategies to break through those second thoughts and stay focused on winning.
Check out more on this topic in this week’s Deep Dive! (YouTube link…)
Exclusive Trick: Second Round Success
The first round, half, or match is always fun… it’s about testing, learning, and figuring things out. But the first round isn’t where the game ends.
The second round is where we either bend or break.
Here’s how to prepare for your “second round of success” and push through to the next level.
Exclusive Action Tools:
Reset: Imagine hitting a reset button. Start fresh, but this time with all the lessons you’ve learned from the first match or round. Now it’s just another “round one,” but with added wisdom.
Tag, You’re It: It’s your time to shine. Embrace the challenges of success as proof that you’ve earned this moment. You’re it, and it’s your opportunity to step into the spotlight.
Evolve: Think of Pokémon! The second round of success is your evolution. Yes, new responsibilities and standards come with it, but so does a stronger, more capable you.
Closing:
Success can be scary, but staying too comfortable can kill… progress.
The first round isn’t the end of the game… it’s the second that defines us. Let’s find that second round success by resetting, embracing our moment, and evolving along the way.
Succeed!
Gabe
P.S. I have some tabling events coming up for local tournaments to showcase TAH, our Mental Gym, and spread mental game tips, tricks, and tools. If you know of any events where I should be present, I’d love it if you could share some resources!
