What are you really seeing, and what’s actually there? As we continue into this next week, I want you to hold that question close.

Picture this:
The swimmer. From the outside, they look like Michael Phelps. Calm, smooth, untouchable.
On the inside? They feel like the 5-year-old at their first swim meet. Anxious, unsure, shaking behind the blocks.
On the outside, they seem like Sully from Monsters Inc.
But inside, they feel like Boo. Wide-eyed and small.
On the outside, maybe they look like Tarzan (shoutout to Ethan Miller).
But inside? They feel like Jane.
The outside vision? It’s strong, confident, unbothered.
But the inside vision? That’s the one that really drives the outcome.
This week, we’re diving even deeper into what those visions mean.

Your goal this week is to bring the inner and outer vision into alignment for yourself, and for those around you.
What we feel internally matters just as much (if not more) than what others see.
Exclusive Action Tools: The Vision Check
1. The Vision Others Have of You
Start here. What do others see in you?
Chances are, especially if you’re in a rut, they still see your potential, maybe even more than you do.
2. The Vision You Have of Yourself
Next, check in with your current self-view.
Are you in a groove? Then you likely see yourself clearly, confidently.
In a rut? That vision might be clouded, chipped away by doubt.
3. The Deep Internal Vision
This is the most important one.
What do you truly believe about yourself, deep down?
Because whether it lifts you up or holds you back, that belief is steering everything.
In Action:
Some athletes I’ve worked with recently were out of play for a few weeks.
Same circumstances, but two different internal visions:
One athlete envisioned themselves coming back stronger than ever. Confident, dominant, clear.
The other let the doubt take root. Seeing themselves as out of rhythm, out of place, out of their element.
The result? One came back and crushed the game.
The other got crushed by the game.
Same moment, different vision. That’s the power of what’s inside.

Whether it’s what others see, what you see, or what you feel deep inside, vision has power.
Help others see clearly. Help yourself believe deeply. Align the outside with the inside, and then watch how you show up.
