Prioritizing the Right Mental Reps to Break Through

Hey TAH Titans,
Check this out! With some guidance and a lot of work, we’ve finally finished our highly anticipated Phronoic Gym™, which is available for trademark and we’re beginning that process to ensure our online property stays protected under the TAH brand.
Now it’s all about connecting with the right people, continuing to grow, and most importantly, collecting feedback from athletes, because that’s what this is really all about.
Week Theme:
The 5 Biggest Mental Game Struggles for Athletes
Weekly Info:
Not too long ago, we gathered real-time insights from athletes about their biggest mental game struggles.
We also received some great feedback to keep developing future tools and lessons now, so they’re ready when the athletes need them.
Without both of these pieces in place, mental support can feel like digging a hole without checking where the digging is actually going.
Sometimes we have to pause and revamp the game plan when we know it's time.
Just like in physical training, if you aren’t seeing progress or don’t know exactly what you’re doing, it’s time to take a step back, reflect, and readjust.
That’s why this week’s Deep Dive focused on how to handle some of the most common mental game struggles athletes face today.
Exclusive Trick: Prioritized Exercise Selection
When we build a physical workout, we usually start with the main goal and lead with the most important exercises. From there, we scale down and build around it.
We need to apply the same strategy to the mental game, focusing on the mental exercises that will help us overcome our current mental performance struggles.
Exclusive Action Tools:
Identify the mental category you want to improve
Select the top 2 to 3 exercises that specifically target that category
Implement the exercises, reflect on what’s working, and adjust as needed to keep progressing
In Action:
An athlete we recently worked with was struggling to break through a plateau. They kept repeating general mental cues like “reset,” “get the next one,” or “stay calm,” but it wasn’t cutting it.
Instead, we used the Phronoic Gym Strengths Finder to pinpoint the most relevant mental category for their current performance need.
From there, we picked the best next step, tested it, tracked how it went, and started refining the approach. That’s how we keep leveling up, through structure, feedback, and intentional action.
Closing:
Just like the physical side of performance, the mental side benefits from focused, personalized attention.
Science keeps evolving, and so should our systems. Instead of randomly testing tools and hoping they stick, let’s give athletes a clear, prioritized structure for mental growth.
Keep prioritizing,
Gabe
P.S. If you haven’t yet, check out the gym’s new homepage and let me know your thoughts. We’re building momentum with this TAH Titan Team, and now’s the time to keep spreading the word.
