Confidence Triangle: 3 Steps to Peak Performance
The Mental Drill Athletes Need for Win-or-Go-Home Games
Hey TAH Titans,
Want to rep TAH, literally? I’m super excited about this. We teamed up with a local distributor to get TAH gear back out there after a ton of you asked for it.
Just fill out this form and we’ll get your order in! We’re aiming for Tuesday as the deadline, but go ahead and knock it out now.
Week Theme:
Confidence Under Pressure: From Acting Confident to Being It
Weekly Info:
Tick... tick... tick...
There goes the season.
Right up until the last rep, the last game, the win-or-go-home moment.
So how do we handle that?
In life, if something goes sideways, we usually get another shot tomorrow (unless we get fired...). But in those final moments of a season, a game, a performance… there is no tomorrow.
It’s over.
There’s a big difference between acting confident and actually being confident.
That’s what we dig into in this week’s deep dive episode. Check it out and then come back to this week’s TAH exercise below to level up even more.
Exclusive Exercise: The Confidence Triangle
3 points. 3 ways to build confidence to its highest level. Simple, direct, and perfect for when the stakes are at their highest.
Exclusive Action Tools:
Reflect – Identify the areas where you want to feel locked-in confident. What situations? What parts of your game? Be specific.
Recall Past Confidence – Think back to a moment where you were fully dialed in. What made it work? What did it feel like?
Visualize Future Confidence – Picture this upcoming high-stakes game. Let go of the overthinking. Imagine yourself doing, not doubting.
In Action:
As summer ball rounds third, we’ve been using this triangle with our teams and athletes and the feedback has been incredible.
It’s short. It’s simple. It bridges the gap between acting confident and being confident by helping you train it on command.
Closing:
If the clock feels like it’s ticking faster and faster and you’re wondering where the time went... hit pause.
Take a breath. Walk yourself through the confidence triangle. Point yourself toward the finish line with clarity and composure.
Catch you next week,
Gabe
P.S. Don’t forget to fill out this form to get your TAH gear order in by Tuesday! I’ll keep you posted on updates and can’t wait to see the Titans repping.
